Day three (yes he is....)

So let me tell you about yesterday, It was a good day all in all. We had a wonderful visit at Brenna's school St. Christophers. The welcome that Roxanne and I and Brenna received was warm. Brenna got a chance to meet her teacher and classmates who were all dressed up for "crazy day" and they also put on an assembly to commemorate their very first "residential" to Jerejak, a small island off of Penang (Brenna will get to do this next year). Brenna was immediately welcomed by her classmates, she was off being given a tour by two girls in her class right away, after the performance, the same two girls and another took her and introduced her to everyone (they really wanted her to spend the rest of the day with them) It was so very sweet. We also got to meet a few of the parents who offered their phone numbers and assistance if we needed it, they all said that the children had been waiting since February for Brenna to arrive . Overall it was a great experience for all of us, I think we made the right choice with St. Christophers. We then tried to go to the uniform shop for Brenna's school clothes, that did not turn out as well, it was actually in someones home, and they were not there (we should have called first). We went back to the condo, got some further cleaning done, and discovered that none of our American sheets fit the beds, so today we will be getting some sheets and stuff for our bed. We also did some laundry (thank god the washer and dryer seem to work, I figured out the gas stove and I think we got the hot water working (fingers crossed). We will still be meeting a plumber in the morning to look at the leak, praying it is something minor! We also discovered that not all food in Penang is good, learning what restaurants to avoid is part of the process.
